Dr. Jill E. Ryland
Dr. Ryland has been practicing pediatrics for over sixteen years. She is a mother of three and a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Ryland has been included in America’s Top Pediatricians and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. a medical honorary society and Phi Beta Kappa, a national honorary society. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her children and activities such as skiing, cycling, tennis, and running.
Amy Foy N.P.
Amy grew up in the Hampton Roads area and attended JMU for her undergraduate nursing degree and UVA for her masters degree. She has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1999 and has pediatric experience in primary care, urgent care, and orthopedics. She also has a special interest in asthma management and weight management. She is married to a wonderful man and have three hilarious, loving young boys. She also loves to play tennis.
David Sutherland, MBA
David joined the practice in 2016. He earned his MBA from College of William and Mary and has an extensive background in Consulting and Marketing. David is also a “green” entrepreneur striving to create a safe and healthy environment for families and their pets. He is an accomplished rower and continues to compete worldwide. He also enjoys surfing and spending time with his wife, two children, and the family labradoodle.
Brenna joined the practice in November 2015. She has over 7 years of experience in the nursing field. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Dr. Madge Zacharias
Dr. Zacharias has a diverse career in Pediatrics and Preventive Medicine. She graduated did her Medical training and Residency at the Medical Commonwealth University School of Medicine and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She practiced in primary care Pediatrics in the Richmond area for 14 years and was voted one of Richmond Top Docs by Richmond magazine.In 2000 she started Positively Fit, a weight management program for children and teens. In 2002 she cofounded the Zacharias Ganey Health Institute where she developed a comprehensive program for helping individuals reverse the trend of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Dr. Zacharias is excited to join Pediatric Partnership to bring to primary care pediatric practice her passion for prevention of lifestyle disease. Dr. Zacharias enjoys spending her free time biking, walking the trails of the James River, and exercising with friends.
